Easily erasable camlin white-board markers !

TAGLINE: Camlin - Rubbing things the wrong way

CONCEPT: It is almost becoming a trend these days for admen to try the humorous route. But when it is force humor- no one's laughing and at the same time the very purpose of an ad of getting the brand message across fails... Something similar is the case with the advertisement of "Camlin white-board easily erasable markers." The admen tried to make it humorous but turned up making it confusing. After watching, viewer has to apply some thought to it in order to understand the concept- which according to my view is not the funda of ad world. Commercials should be direct, clear and easy in sending the message across.

The advertisement opens with the shot of a boardroom meeting where an executive insists to his team of board members that their organization desperately needs a CHANGE and writes a word on the white-board with a marker. As he finishes, he suddenly hears the sound of coins dropping on the table. He gets astonished to find spare change of coins in ample quantity laid out in front of him on the table by the board members. Even the office boy takes out the change from his pocket and puts it on the table. In the climax, executive shakes his head in disbelief and easily erases the word 'change' which he wrote on white board . The voice over says,"Easily erasable. Camlin white-board markers."

I am not saying that concept of ad is bad. Though not for professionals but ad is a tough call for children and other people as corporate jargon has been used. Children can be best consumer for this product as they use white-boards instead of old fashioned slates even in their house to study. And there is nothing in this ad which could attract the attractive kids ;). Though not bad but not very gooood Camlin easily erasable marker ad acted smart over the audience and hence did not able to make long-lasting impact on them.

Funny Indian Advertisement Of Camlin Permanent Marker

Tagline: Camlin permanent markers - really permanent !

Concept: sometimes, television commercials are so hilarious that we favor to stay back on our couch during commercial breaks. One of the example is Camlin permanent marker advertisement which is perpetually amusing. Ad begins with such serous note that it seems as if it is some kind of serous awareness commercial. But situation is turned around with such ease and climax clearly conveys the desired message to the viewers i.e., Once something written or draw with Camlin permanent marker cannot be erased. Hats off to the person who has designed this advertisement. The music is also very entertaining, first the mourning one and then rejoicing which gives tickling to the ears :).
Ad opens with the information that in India, vermilion (sindoor or kumkum), bangles and locket are signs of a married woman, and that when a woman losses her husband, she is stripped of these symbols. In next shot village atmosphere is shown where a man is dying, his wife sitting next to him and rudalis (profession mourners) waiting for him to die. As the man dies woman starts stripping the locket, bangles of his wife but are not able to remove kumkum. Here comes the rocking climax, as the dead men suddenly starts breathing and flash back shows that he applied vermilion to his wife's forehead with red Camlin permanent marker. And The reason behind his dramatic come back is that in India vermilion is believed to be connected with husband's lifeline and as it got permanent on his wife forehead, he also couldn't die.

Every character be it miserable men on bed, his wife or the mourners are awesome in their expression. The concept is so indianised and execution is brilliant...

Glycodin - Khaasi ki chutti

Tagline : instant relief from cough

Concept : the above video is of Glycodin cough syrup - award winning advertisement. The "uhu-uhu" (haha) ad plays on humour quotient and at the same time conveys its message clearly to the viewers. 'Instant relief from cough' remains the main proposition of the ad with a generous doze of humour.

The concept is not based on reality but it is indeed very humorous. It is shown in the advertisement that how a innocent boy has to bare embarrassment in whole of his life just because baba who was giving him name coughs at the wrong time (funny indeed). It starts with a couple who go to a 'baba' and ask him to suggest a name for their new- born child. When the father addresses him, the baba goes "Uhu-Uhu" (the sound he makes while coughing). The couple thinks the suggested name is "Uhu-Uhu". And from this point Uhu Uhu has to face difficulties in his life "haha". . . Be it at in the arms of grandmother ,school or his marriage his name becomes laughing point for others and shame for him :( .

And here comes the rocking climax ;) as motive of advertisement to inform people that glycodin gives instant relief is achieved. Finally Uhu Uhu (in capitals as it is his name hahaha ;) and his wife have a baby and they take him to the same family baba to suggests a name for the child. Again baba is about to cough while giving the name, when suddenly Uhu Uhu makes him drink GLYCODIN and waits for his response. Instantly baba relieves off his cough and gushes, "glycodin". Male voice-over then intones, "khasi ki chutti." Hence, it proves in a dramatic way that glycodin gives relief from cough in very less time.

First change then you have the right to complain !

We as youth always criticize our politicians, system, in-whole our NATION.
It is truly said that 'little knowledge is very dangerous.' And with this little knowledge youths criticize the country without even knowing the facts. Almost 75% of the people who crib about the ills of the nation do not know about their Constitution, plans of govt. undertaking, current affairs etc etc...
No nation is perfect, there are drawbacks in every system. It is very right to be upset but to hate our own motherland is unforgivable.FIRST TRY AND CHANGE, AND THEN IF NO ONE LISTENS TO YOU, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN...

This picture shows the condition of the people who crib about their country.

I am not saying that our politicians are God and system consists no ills. But one should not abuse the country on no grounds and should look at the positives around them : despite having so much to criticize India still marches on the path of success and growth..that is unprecedented in the country.I understand the politicians need to be more responsible but u will find all types of people...some will be good and sum bad.Even i am to agitated abt Mamta banerjee’s ignorance to the people of this nation. She is using her position in the govt to make her political base solid in her home Bengal. But we have ministers like kapil sibbal, Mr.chidambaram who will not let 100 billion ppl of this country down.....do you think its easy to listen such a huge number of ppl...govt has only a partial role to play...its “we” who makes the country...dont blame anyone else nut yourself for the present situation of the beautiful country we have...u can fight for the change...but u will not ...coz u think its not your job...
and don’t think other countries are better...look how US treats Asians...in china, total authoritarian rule...u might be bookd under any false charge and the rest of yo life will see nothing but the four barrack walls...in india we respesct the citizens and their rights...no other country in this world can offer u the freedom- freedom to move and express yo opinion like the way India offers....in japan u will be shot on the spot if you dare speak a word aganst the government.

we cant even repay, what this nation has given to us...we havnt seen the imperial rule...we are born as free citizens,,,just enjoy that feat.

faith

When a girl starts smiling at herself and nothing crosses her mind except the thought of meeting someone, she is in
love ♥

some people say valentine day or valentine weak is irrelevant. And why do we have such day when everyday is lovable if u love ur partner ???

A simple and honest answer to them...

God is everywhere, in everything, but still there are temples, churches etc., so that we can show our love and faith towards Almighty in particular.

Oxygen is everywhere then why do we have fan, air condition. So that we can get air in particular.

Similarly, everyday is love day. But life in its everyday run is become hectic. Expressing love is become difficult. Therefore we have one beautiful day in a year 14th February <3 VALENTINES DAY<3 when free from all tensions, giving priority to the only love of our life, we celebrate and tell our partners' how special they are. :) :)

remembrance

I remember those days and nights,
when i was in my flights.
Dreams i saw there,
thought was just and fair.

But when i dropped to reality,
saw it was a disastrous affair,
which spoiled my land,
with the questions of several hand.

Rest is history,
but still is mystery.
It was bad luck,
but y only that flower i pluck.
